There’s a reason why France, and Paris in particular, is at the very top of every Well Travelled Bride’s travel bucket list. It is, afterall, the birthplace of Impressionism, croissants, and, of course, French kissing. For us, the City of Lights will always conjure up warm memories of black and white cinema and long walks at midnight, bathed in the glow of gaslight. It’s the mecca of haute couture (making it an ideal destination to be fitted for a bespoke wedding gown) and the home of some of Europe’s most talented planners, photographers, cinematographers, furniture rental services, tailors, and more.

While anyone can choose to set their wedding in Paris, we think it’s particularly well suited for starry-eyed lovers looking to tie the knot in a spur-of-the-moment elopement. There are endless picture perfect backdrops on offer for a symbolic ceremony, from iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower to chateaus and castles less than an hour’s drive from the city. If you have a head full of ideas of your own and aren’t quite ready or able to invest in a full-service destination planner, you may still benefit from our design and consulting services, now offered ‘a la carte’. All of the same creative services are still available – assistance in selecting your initial destination, recommendations and introductions to local vendors, design inspiration, logistical advice, or absolutely anything else.
