Provence is famous for the infinite number of chateaus, vineyards, and resorts scattered along the region’s rolling hills. Each spot is honestly a destination in itself, usually offering luxe accommodations, stunning grounds, local wine, and the finest farm-to-table dining. The biggest dilemma you may face when planning your honeymoon in Provence is selecting which spots to visit. As an attempt to help you narrow down your choices, we highly recommend putting Le Bastide de Marie on your list. We visited this farmhouse estate for lunch one day whilst in the country and enjoyed gorgeous gardens, spacious vineyards and, of course, wonderful wine (the rosé, of course, being our favourite). The dining was also excellent, with their well-trained staff offering choice wine pairings with every menu item. Honeymooners may want to extend their visit by a few days and take advantage of the on-site swimming pool and local day trip options, which allow you to pack as much or as little into your itinerary as you desire.
