An Innovative Restaurant on the Banks of the River Sorgue
A gorgeous river runs through the heart of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a charming town in the Provence region of France. Located on this river and boasting creative, flavourful cuisine is the Restaurant Le Vivier. The town is a natural draw for honeymooners, with amazing brocante (flea) markets, making this restaurant an ideal spot for grabbing lunch amidst a busy day of shopping. We highly recommend sitting on the terrace, where you can enjoy spicy Aperitif cocktails and a gorgeous view of the river. While every dish is delicious and innovative, our favourite was an egg and mushroom tart – perfectly cooked and paired with a bottle of Les Grands Calcaires Blanc. If visiting with a larger wedding party, be sure to take advantage of their group menu options, including the Emotion Menu, which features a selection of 8 incredible dishes.
