While every suite is incredibly serene – with rustic white walls, terracotta floors, and beamed ceilings – the honeymoon suite of our choice is the decadent Matthew Williamson suite, designed by the famous British fashion designer. Featuring fantastic views of the village and mountains, with a private pool and terrace, what makes this room truly unique is its exquisite use of colour and texture. From the rich patterned wallpaper to the vintage furnishings and quirky lounge, this suite was definitely designed with fabulous jetsetters in mind.
A wedding or event at Belmond La Residencia is truly like no other on the island. For the ceremony, couples have their pick of scenic spots on the property, with guests free to roam throughout the citrus trees and olive groves during cocktail hour. Sorting Out the Details
Ceremony Spaces: For gatherings of up to 12 people, the property offers several quiet and romantic spaces. The garden pergola, private suite with attached garden and pool, or main gardens all provide scenic backdrops for an intimate ceremony. Larger weddings can be accommodated in the main gardens, which are located in front of the main hotel building and can seat 100 guests for a fee of €1500.
Another very special spot on the property is the viewpoint located in the Sierra de Tramuntana, surrounded by ancient olive trees and stone terraces with exclusive views of the Mediterranean. This scenic space holds up to 120 guests and can be rented for a fee of € 2000.
Guest Capacity: Depending on the location, offerings extend from 2-150 guests. The venue/space fee is fixed regardless of the wedding size. A buyout of the property is available, accommodating 72 guests and 1 independent villa with a pool for 7 overnight guests.
In-House Services Offered: Limit your search for outside vendors by taking advantage of La Residencia’s onsite staff, including a hairdresser, make-up artist, florist, banquet organizer, and the service of beverages and food. If you have your heart set on an outside vendor, there is flexibility to hire independent contractors, but please keep in mind that food and beverages are still only to be provided exclusively through Belmond.
Budget: Pricing, as always, will depend on the individual requests of the client, but this venue does lean toward the upper end of the area’s market.
The property is open for weddings from April to October, when the coastal weather is truly at its peak.
