Molly and William decided to make sure heaven was going to hear them exchange their vows in an intimate ceremony on top of Fog Peak. They chose destination photographer Julia Trotti to document the day, and adventurer John Bozinov to capture those candid moments. The sparse clouds and warm Spring sunshine made Molly’s custom Kelsey Genna gown sparkle like ice, which was perfect as they were surrounded by snow. After the ceremony William who was dressed by Crane Brothers, serenaded Molly and everything was sealed with a kiss. The couple enjoyed the exciting heli’ ride down the mountain to be met by their guests and a champagne toast at the exclusive Horseshoe Bend Estate.

The Ladies ...
Our bridal party all enjoyed a chic afternoon tea and turkish delight gathering, with a few glasses of Arum Methode Traditionelle too. Styled with local brand Wanaka Living sheepskins and set by the cosy fire at Barley Fields. They enjoyed cake and catch up’s whilst giving our bride some beautiful custom Kelsey Genna lingerie as a gift. They had fun dressing in an all white theme and wearing flowers in their hair.

The Gents...
Our Groom, his friends and Wanaka local Jasper the dog enjoyed an afternoon sitting by the outdoor fire with drinks from Wanaka Beerworks and keeping warm with the odd local dram. They swung a few golf clubs, played petanque whilst they appreciated the private open space of the exclusive Horseshoe Bend Estate.

The Ceremony...
Our couple’s intimate mountaintop ceremony could not have been more magical. The clouds cleared and the sun shined through to reveal the most incredible views that went on for miles. Their custom formal attire was perfect for the conditions and they made this untouched peak their own with a musical rendition and
large cross.

The Reception...
The blooms by Yvette Edwards were sumptuous spring colour tones of berry, peach and gold. Working with local's from Fantail Productions, Yvette reflected our modern couple's taste for the old and the new with a selection of designer tableware and antiques. Everything emulated the stylish affair they wanted whilst celebrating the natural surroundings of Wanaka.

The Honeymoon...
After all the fun of the wedding day our couple retreated to Mantells apartment for a romantic evening picnic. In the following days they enjoyed strolls along the lakefront and reminiscing about the wedding and their fabulous stay in Wanaka.
